Estimator - Xometry Project

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Estimator to manage Xometry projects remotely. This key role involves analyzing project requirements, preparing detailed cost and time estimates, and ensuring smooth collaboration across teams. Prior hands-on experience with the Xometry platform is essential. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of manufacturing processes, pricing strategies, and a keen analytical mindset to deliver accurate, competitive bids.

Responsibilities

· Analyze RFQs and specifications on the Xometry platform

· Prepare precise cost and time estimates for CNC machining, 3D printing, sheet metal fabrication, injection molding, and more

· Identify required materials, labor, and equipment

· Collaborate with project managers, procurement, and engineering to validate assumptions and improve estimate accuracy

· Maintain and update cost databases and estimation tools

· Monitor estimates against actual costs to refine pricing models

· Support bidding strategies to improve win rates while maintaining profitability

· Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

· MUST HAVE prior experience with Xometry projects and platform

· Strong understanding of manufacturing and machining processes

· Minimum 1 year of estimating or project management experience in manufacturing

· Excellent analytical, math, and organizational skills

· Detail-oriented with strong communication skills

· Proficient with spreadsheet tools like Google Sheets

· Self-starter capable of working independently in a remote setting
