Position Responsibilities:

Precision Welding & Fabrication

· Perform high-quality TIG welds with proficiency; utilize MIG and Stick welding techniques as required.

· Fabricate, assemble, and repair components with a strong emphasis on precision and durability.

Blueprint & Technical Interpretation

· Read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and welding symbols to determine optimal welding processes.

Material & Process Expertise

· Work with a variety of metals, including steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and specialty alloys.

· Select appropriate welding consumables and fabrication techniques tailored to each project.

Quality Assurance

· Inspect and test welds for structural integrity, dimensional accuracy, and adherence to industry standards.

Equipment Operation & Maintenance

· Operate welding equipment, grinders, cutting tools, and other fabrication machinery efficiently.

· Conduct routine maintenance and inspections to ensure equipment is operating at peak performance.

Safety & Compliance

· Follow strict safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.

· Ensure compliance with all industry regulations and internal safety standards.

Collaborative Production

· Partner with machinists, engineers, and quality inspectors to meet production goals and deliver high-quality results.

Custom Work & Repairs

· Modify and repair metal structures and parts according to project specifications and client needs.

Documentation & Workflow Management

· Maintain accurate records of materials, job progress, and any production issues to ensure schedule and quality control.

Requirements

· 2+ years of hands-on TIG welding experience in a machine shop or industrial environment.

· Strong knowledge of steel, stainless steel, and aluminum welding.

· Ability to read blueprints and welding symbols accurately.

· High attention to detail with demonstrated ability to produce clean, structurally sound welds.

· Proficient with shop equipment such as grinders, cutting tools, and drills.

· Team-oriented with a proactive, solution-focused mindset.

· Knowledgeable in welding safety procedures and best practices.

Preferred Qualifications

· AWS Welding Certifications (TIG/MIG or equivalent).

· Experience with CNC machinery or automated welding systems.

· Familiarity with exotic metals and/or high-pressure piping systems.

· Background in pipe fitting.

· Hands-on experience with both GMAW and GTAW processes.
