Precision Metal Cutter (2nd Shift)

Position Overview

An experienced Precision Metal Cutter is needed for a full-time 2nd shift role in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position involves working with advanced cutting machinery and collaborating with engineers and production teams to meet tight tolerances and performance targets. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in laser cutting, CNC operations, and other high-precision metal fabrication techniques.

Key Responsibilities

· Operate CNC and laser cutting machines with a focus on accuracy, quality, and efficiency

· Interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure precise cutting operations

· Manage complex, high-volume projects in a fast-paced setting

· Collaborate with engineering and production teams to meet project timelines

· Perform quality inspections and adjustments to ensure adherence to required tolerances

· Contribute to process improvements and operational efficiency initiatives

· Maintain clean, organized, and safe workspaces according to safety standards

· Provide guidance and support to less experienced team members

Qualifications

· Minimum 5 years of experience in precision metal cutting in a manufacturing environment

· Proficient in CNC and laser cutting operations

· Strong understanding of technical drawings and fabrication standards

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team

· High attention to detail and commitment to producing quality results
