About the Role We are seeking an experienced Master Scheduler / Planner to lead production planning and scheduling across complex manufacturing operations. This strategic role requires a disciplined, detail-oriented professional with expertise in project controls, schedule risk management, and production flow optimization. The ideal candidate is PMI-SP certified and well-versed in AACE International's recommended practices for scheduling and delay analysis.
Key Responsibilities
· Master Schedule Management: Develop and maintain a Master Production Schedule (MPS) to balance customer demand, resource availability, and inventory levels.
· Baseline Schedule Control: Create, update, and manage detailed baseline schedules and project chronologies.
· Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate closely with engineering, procurement, operations, and quality teams to ensure full alignment of production schedules.
· Delay & Impact Analysis: Perform delay and schedule impact analysis in accordance with AACE RP 29R-03 / 52R-06.
· Project Scheduling: Manage planning for complex manufacturing environments, including make-to-order and make-to-stock products.
· Agile Integration: Apply Agile and Lean methodologies to improve scheduling responsiveness, flexibility, and process efficiency.
· Capacity Planning: Analyze resource constraints and capacity issues, identify bottlenecks, and propose corrective actions.
· Reporting & Forecasting: Prepare and present schedule performance metrics, forecasts, and risk assessments to senior leadership.
· Subject Matter Expertise: Serve as a key resource on schedule governance, risk management, and project controls.
· Additional Duties: Perform other planning-related responsibilities as assigned.
Required Qualifications
· Certification: PMI-SP (Scheduling Professional) certification is required.
· Education: Bachelors degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or related field; Masters degree is a plus.
· Experience: 7+ years of experience in scheduling/project planning, with at least 3 years in a manufacturing environment.
· Industry Tools: Proficient in production scheduling tools and platforms such as Fulcrum, Xometry, or similar systems.
· AACE Knowledge: In-depth understanding of AACE International standards and project delay analysis methodologies.
· Analytical Skills: Strong critical thinking, data analysis, and organizational skills.
· Agile/Lean: Familiarity with Agile practices and Lean manufacturing principles.
