Requirements:

· Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance

· CPA certification preferred

· Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance

· Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP)

· Strong understanding of GAAP

· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

· Effective communication and interpersonal abilities

· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Day to Day Responsibilities:

The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for analyzing data and leveraging available resources to deliver insights that support product manufacturing, projects, and services. This role involves close collaboration with multiple departments to develop financial reports and presentations for senior management. While primarily office-based, the Financial Analyst is expected to maintain a deep understanding of production operations and physical inventory.

· Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing procurement team to support mission-critical defense and aerospace programs.

· Set strategic priorities and align resources to meet complex program, production, and customer delivery requirements.

· Oversee advanced procurement efforts involving technical specifications, controlled materials, and long-lead components.

· Drive cost efficiency and operational readiness through rigorous financial, inventory, and performance analysis.

· Provide actionable insights and recommendations to senior leadership to strengthen program execution and profitability.

· Direct monthly and annual financial cycles, ensuring accuracy in forecasting, program cost control, and revenue recognition.

· Partner with Engineering, Program Management, and Business Development to optimize product margins and lifecycle performance.

· Develop and maintain Spend Plans, budgets, and executive dashboards in support of program milestones and contract obligations.

· Ensure full compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX), government regulations, and internal audit requirements.
