Requirements:
Candidate will have the following: Minimum 3 years of experience engaged in employment litigation within a major law firm setting (experience will be current or very recent) ; Experience with employment counseling, and conventional labor matters.
Stellar academic credentials (Law Review and/or Moot Court accolades desired) ; Strong research, verbal & written communication skills required ; California Bar.
Day to Day Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Handling and managing employment litigation matters and administrative charges.
- Taking and defending depositions in employment-litigation matters.
- Preparing dispositive motions.
- Supporting the team by performing work on other matters as needed.
- Assisting in providing day-to-day employment and counseling for clients.
- Reviewing, analyzing and drafting employment agreements, employee handbooks, severance agreements and other employment documents.
