We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Medical Office Supervisor to join our team. The Medical Office Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our medical office, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of services to patients. This is a full-time, permanent position with competitive salary.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise the day-to-day operations of the medical office, including scheduling, patient flow, and staff management
- Monitor and maintain office policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards
- Train and supervise office staff, including receptionists, medical assistants, and administrative personnel
- Coordinate and oversee patient appointments, including scheduling, follow-up, and rescheduling as needed
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of patient information, including insurance verification, billing, and payment collection
- Maintain inventory of office and medical supplies, and order new supplies as needed
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure smooth and efficient patient care
- Handle patient inquiries, complaints, and concerns in a professional and timely manner
- Assist with the recruitment, hiring, and training of new office staff
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to staff members
- Monitor and maintain office budget and expenses
- Participate in meetings and trainings to stay updated on industry developments and best practices.
- - Minimum of 3 years of experience in a medical office supervisory role
- - Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration or related field preferred
- - Knowledge of medical office operations, including scheduling, billing, and insurance procedures
- - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- - Strong leadership and team management abilities
- - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic medical records systems
- - Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and medical ethics
- - Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a medical office supervisory role
