Are you an experienced nurse looking to make a meaningful impact? Join our team at Seaside Pediatrics, where you'll care for our patients and educate them and their families on prevention and healthy habits. The ideal candidate will be a responsible and well-trained professional able to provide the best nursing care with minimal supervision. You will be compassionate and cool-tempered, consistently following health and safety guidelines. Our goal is to promote patient well-being by providing high-quality nursing care.
Responsibilities:
- Manage provider's patient schedule and flow to ensure smooth operations.
- Administer vaccinations and maintain accurate vaccination records.
- Conduct telephone triage to address patient concerns and prioritize care.
- Obtain medical history, patient vital signs, intake, and prioritize patient care.
- Keep exam rooms stocked with adequate medical supplies, maintain instruments, and prepare sterilization tools and equipment as required.
- Provide compassionate and comprehensive care to pediatric patients.
- Assist physicians with patient examinations and procedures.
- Educate patients and their families about health maintenance and disease prevention.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all healthcare regulations.
Requirements:
- Active nursing license in the State of North Carolina.
- Knowledge of medical practice and terminology.
- Experience with electronic medical records.
- Minimum two years of clinical experience.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Commitment to providing high-quality care to pediatric patients.
