Key Responsibilities:

Clinical Duties:

  • Patient Care: Take vital signs, prepare patients for exams, and administer medications with a smile.
  • Lab Work: Perform routine laboratory tests and procedures to keep our practice running smoothly.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, because every detail matters.
  • Clinical Support: Assist the pediatrician with clinical tasks and patient management, becoming an essential part of the care team.
  • Organized Environment: Keep our work environment clean and organized, creating a welcoming space for everyone.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service and build strong relationships with patients and their families, making every visit a positive experience.
  • Medication Administration: Administer medications and immunizations under supervision, contributing to patient health and safety.
  • Phlebotomy: Perform phlebotomy tasks (training available), adding valuable skills to your repertoire.
  • EMR Documentation: Ensure accurate documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR), keeping patient information up-to-date.
  • Inventory Management: Help maintain inventory, including vaccines and medical supplies, ensuring we are always prepared.
  • Versatile Role: Take on other responsibilities as needed to fit clinic needs, showcasing your adaptability and teamwork.

Front Office Duties:

  • Greet and check in patients.
  • Answer phones, schedule appointments, and manage patient communications.

Requirements:

  • Certification: CMA or RMA certification, or currently enrolled in CNA, EMT, or medical profession courses.
  • Experience: Preferably in pediatric or family practice settings.
  • Communication: Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Team Player: Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Compassion: Patient-focused approach to care.
  • Education: High school diploma or GED.
  • Tech Savvy: Basic knowledge of EMR systems (Athena experience a plus).
  • CPR Certified: CPR certification.
  • Reliable Transportation: Reliable transportation for scheduled shifts.

Schedule & Availability:

  • 4 Days a Week: Enjoy a balanced work-life with a 32-hour workweek.
  • Monday & Tuesday: 7:45 AM - 6:00 PM
  • Wednesday & Thursday: 7:45 AM - 5:00 PM
  • Friday: 7:45 AM - 4:00 PM
  • Weekend Shifts: Required on rotation or as needed, offering variety and flexibility.
