Planning Solutions  is a town planning consultancy employing a highly motivated team of planners. We are seeking a Planning Consultant  with relevant town planning qualifications who has a sound knowledge of the WA planning framework, ideally with experience in either the private or government sectors. Position Purpose To contribute to the daily operations of the practice, prepare and deliver statutory determinations, projects, and advice, contribute to business development, and ensure work produced is of a high standard and maintains the company’s reputation. Key Responsibilities Assist with the preparation of development applications, scheme amendments, subdivision applications, appeals, and client advice Conduct research, draft reports and submissions, and review plans in line with client feedback and regulatory requirements Ensure all work is accurate, well-written, delivered on time, and budget Stay informed on relevant planning legislation, policy changes, and industry trends Communicate professionally with clients, authorities, and co-consultants Track project timelines and budgets Qualifications Tertiary qualifications in urban and regional planning, geography or similar. 0-5 years’ experience in a private consultancy or local/state government planning role. Town Planning experience, including a knowledge of WA statutory planning issues. Good self-organization skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Attention to detail.
