When a property is built or renovated, over time, its structure and the assets contained within it wear out – they depreciate in value. The Australian Tax Office (ATO) allows owners of rental properties to claim this depreciation as a tax deduction. This is where BMT comes in – we provide industry-leading depreciation reports for our investors to use at tax time. About the role Are you just starting out or looking to transition into an admin career and ready to hit the ground running? Do you love talking to people, staying organised, and making things happen behind the scenes? This might just be the opportunity you’ve been waiting for! As a scheduling coordinator, you’ll be the go-to person making sure our Property Inspectors are in the right place at the right time. You’ll juggle schedules, make phone calls, and chat with tenants, property managers, and clients, all while keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes. A typical day might include: Coordinating daily bookings for our busy team of Property Inspectors Communicating with clients, tenants and real estate agents to confirm appointments Using your organisational superpowers to schedule and reschedule Organising interstate or regional trips for our Property Inspectors by booking accommodation, hire cars and or flights Solving little puzzles and keeping the team one step ahead Who are you? You don’t need 10 years of experience or a fancy title — just bring your can-do attitude and: A friendly, confident phone manner and strong customer-focused approach Great time management, prioritisation and organisation skills A problem-solving mindset and willingness to jump in and learn Attention to detail and pride in doing things well Bonus points if you’ve had a customer service or admin job before (but not essential!)
