Epiq, Australia’s premium supplier of transcription services, has offices across Australia providing court reporting, e-discovery, e-trials, and transcription services for government agencies, law firms and corporates.  We are currently seeking a fulltime Transcriber/Monitor to join our Sydney office, working Monday-Friday .  You will be responsible for the accurate and timely production of transcript in various styles and formats, utilizing a variety of audio types and production and research tools. Transcripts must be produced in accordance with contractual and client-driven deadlines with a focus on quality and accuracy.  This is a on-site hybrid role where you will be trained in transcription and court monitoring. Most of your time will be spent transcribing however you will also provide cover for our monitoring team where required.   The ideal candidate will have:  Availability to work fulltime, Monday-Friday Typing speed of 70 wpm +  Excellent English vocabulary and grammar Excellent reading comprehension Ability to use computers, and proficiency in MS Word Australian citizenship Residency in Australia  You will need to be willing to obtain or hold a National Police Check. Prior experience in audio transcription is an advantage but not essential as full training will be provided.
