ABOUT US 123 Financial Group is a well-established and proudly independent accounting practice based in Charlestown. For over 15 years, we’ve helped individuals and small business owners gain clarity, confidence, and control over their finances. We provide accounting, tax, business advisory, and loans – all under one roof. We’re now looking for a motivated and hands-on Accountant to join our growing team. ABOUT THE ROLE This is a full-time, in-office role ideal for someone who enjoys working directly with clients and wants to be more than just a number in a big firm. You’ll be responsible for: · Preparation and Review of Financial Statements and Income Tax Returns for individuals, companies, partnerships, trusts SMSF’s. · Preparation of Monthly and Quarterly Business Activity Statements and IAS’s. · Preparation of FBT, CGT calculations and Division 7A management. · Maintaining strong client relationships and offering practical advice · Direct client contact. · Working closely with senior advisers, accountants, and support staff to deliver seamless service ABOUT YOU We are looking for someone who: · Is well presented, friendly and professional · Has at least 3 years experience in an Australian public practice · Solid experience with Xero essential · Ability to manage workflow independently and meet deadlines with minimal supervision · Is confident and professional in client-facing work · Takes pride in accuracy and timeliness · A proactive mindset and a willingness to contribute as part of the team · Is a great communicator who can explain things clearly to clients both verbally and in writing · Permanent work rights in Australia This is an ideal role for someone looking for a career in a respected firm that values growth, team culture and great client service.
