We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Management Accountant to join our Finance & Administration Team. In this pivotal role, you will work closely with the Group Finance Manager and Chief Finance & Operating Officer (CFOO) to ensure the financial health of our organisation, providing meaningful support to our services that directly enhance the lives of our residents. You’ll work collaboratively across departments, providing analysis, insights, and tailored financial reporting that supports strategic decision-making and long-term sustainability. Key Responsibilities As a Management Accountant, your work will directly contribute to the quality and sustainability of the care we deliver through: ·         Providing high-quality financial services, analysis, and reporting to internal stakeholders. ·         Developing and maintaining financial models, forecasts, and budgets. ·         Conducting variance and trend analysis to inform strategy and identify opportunities for improvement. ·         Supporting the end-of-month processes including journal processing, accruals, and reconciliations. ·         Partnering with operational teams to drive budgeting and financial planning. ·         Assisting with audits and liaising with external auditors and regulatory bodies. ·         Identifying and implementing opportunities to streamline procedures and improve accuracy and efficiency in financial reporting. ·         Monitoring financial performance and delivering tailored reports to the Group Finance Manager and CFOO. ·         Supporting continuous improvement across all financial processes and contributing to the development of internal systems. ·         Staying abreast of industry and regulatory changes relevant to aged care financial management. ·         Upholding Work Health & Safety requirements and contributing to a safe, respectful work environment. ·         Providing relief for the Group Finance Manager and administration staff during absences as needed. About You We’re looking for a detail-oriented and proactive professional with a strong understanding of financial processes and a passion for contributing to a mission-driven organisation. The ideal candidate will have: Demonstrated knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting. Experience with financial systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail. Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused mindset. Proven time management and problem-solving abilities. A strong alignment with Warrina Homes’ Christian values. Valid police clearance for aged care, flu vaccination, COVID-19 vaccination certificate, and current driver's licence. Desirable Qualifications and Experience: ·         Previous experience in aged care or a similar sector. ·         Tertiary qualifications in Business, Accounting, or a related discipline.
