An exciting opportunity has emerged for an innovative Manager Finance to join the City of Tea Tree Gully and lead the strategic financial management of the Council. Role Overview Reporting to the General Manager Strategy & Finance, this role is responsible for developing sustainable and efficient financial strategies for the Council in alignment with legislative and organisational goals. Along with overseeing budgeting, long-term financial planning, reporting and compliance, this role will also be responsible for leading the enhancement of the Council’s financial management systems- driving innovation and continuous improvement in financial processes and technologies. The City of Tea Tree Gully are seeking a transformational financial leader with the ability to lead cross functional teams and foster a culture of collaboration across the organisation whilst embodying the core values of the Council. Skills, Knowledge and Experience The successful candidate must possess tertiary qualifications in accounting, financial management, business management or other relevant disciplines, with proven experience in strategic financial management. This role will require the candidate to have sound knowledge and understanding of continuous improvement frameworks, principles and systems relevant to local government and change management frameworks and tools. The successful candidate must have strong leadership skills, ability to lead cross-functional teams along with previous experience leading and managing complex change at a whole organisational level.
