Payroll Officer

About the role As a Payroll Officer at Rembrandt Living, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll for our valued employees. This position is based in our Oaklands Park, SA office. Perm-Part Time (0.7) role - Mon, Tues, Wed and every second Thursday. You will be responsible for managing the entire payroll cycle, from data collection to reporting, and will work closely with the Finance and HR teams to maintain our organisation's compliance with relevant legislation and regulations. What you'll be doing Collecting, verifying and processing all employee timesheets, leave requests, and other payroll-related data Calculating gross and net pay, including deductions, allowances, salary packaging and superannuation contributions Calculation and processing of annual leave and LSL adjustments, and termination payments Preparation and lodgement of Work Cover, Centrelink, etc. Preparing and submitting all relevant payroll reports and payments on time Maintaining employee payroll records and ensuring data accuracy Providing assistance and answering queries from employees regarding their pay and entitlements Collaborating with the Finance and HR teams to resolve any payroll-related issues Staying up to date with changes in payroll legislation and regulations What we're looking for Minimum 2 years' experience in a payroll officer or similar role, preferably within the accounting industry Strong knowledge of payroll processing, including award interpretation, tax and superannuation calculations Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work accurately under pressure Proficient in the use of payroll software and Microsoft Office applications Excellent communication and customer service skills A team player with a positive, proactive attitude Tertiary qualification in Accounting or a related field is desirable What we offer At Rembrandt Living, we are committed to providing a supportive and rewarding work environment for our employees.
