Medical Receptionist
Job Description:
Our clinic in beautiful, sunny Bondi Junction is currently seeking a Medical Receptionist to join the team.
Reporting to the Office Supervisor, this role is a full time position working Monday - Friday, with 8.5 hour shifts rostered between 7:30am-6pm . Working longer hours means you will work a 9 day fortnight!
Role Overview:
As a Medical Receptionist , you will be the first point of contact for our patients.
Your responsibilities will include:
Greeting patients warmly and assisting with check-in procedures.
Answering emails and phone calls promptly and handling inquiries professionally.
Advising patients of preparation prior to relevant scans.
Billing procedures - private, Medicare, workers compensation, and DVA.
Collaborating with clerical and technical staff, radiologists, and referrers.
