Arisit is an Australian owned company with exclusive distribution of a range of appliance brands, ranging from laundry and cooking appliances to state-of-the-art electronics from around the world, including Europe, USA and China. About the role The Payroll Administrator is a key role in our Finance team, based in our Dandenong South office. A permanent part-time opportunity, with flexibility to work 24 hours across either a 3 or 4-day work week. A multifaceted role, focusing on supporting the lifecycle from recruitment through to offboarding, you will act as the first point of contact for all employee related queries. You will also: Coordinate the external payroll bureau to execute pay run and support any all queries such as validation, calculations, deductions, adjustments, and compliance with statutory requirements Liaise with the external payroll bureau to ensure timely and accurate processing including approval of the final pay report Assist with the preparation of the payroll file summary for end of month processing Coordinate employees PAYG payment, Payroll taxes and Superannuation payment Assist with entering time sheets and any adjustments into payroll system (Preceda) Maintain accurate employee records including organisation chart and generate reports for analytics and Head Count reporting Actively seek out opportunities to enhance existing processes while ensuring strict adherence to established processes Involvement in Payroll and ad hoc project/s including data integration and/or migration activities About you You thrive in a fast-paced environment and appreciate having deadlines to work towards. You will also: Have experience or have had exposure to a team processing a medium/high volume payroll (80+ employees fortnightly and monthly) Knowledge of payroll processes, calculations, and relevant legislation Maintain a good understanding of Australian employment laws and regulations A positive attitude and clear communication style Highly developed organisational skills, time management skills, with strong attention to detail Proficiency using Microsoft Excel (Lookups and pivot tables) Experience with outsourced or external payroll providers desirable Proficiency using Preceda payroll is desirable If this sounds like the opportunity you are looking for, Apply Now!
