Stoddart Group are a leading supplier and installer of products to the residential building industry. A leader in what we do, Stoddart are the often unseen but ever-present backbone of the construction of a new home. This role is part of our Roofing and Rainwater division. Specialising in metal fascia, gutter and roofing, this division is the bustling heart of Stoddart Group and works closely with our amazing builders to ensure we’re an efficient and valuable part of their build. We are looking for an energetic and highly motivated individual ready to kick-start their career in an Operations Assistant role at our brand-new facility in Richlands. This position will support the operations of our Roofing Division and be responsible for scheduling works to our on-site staff and sub-contractors. You will learn multiple skillsets that will broaden your knowledge and capabilities all whilst working alongside an amazing and supportive team. On-the-job training will be provided to the successful candidate so even if you have limited experience in a related role, you will have every opportunity to succeed with this supportive team. This position would be suitable for recent university graduates ready to dive head-first into the construction industry! That doesn’t mean it won’t suit a more experienced individual, either. Duties of the role include (but certainly are not limited to): Provide support within the Operations team to meet demands as required Receive and schedule bookings, services and repairs Assist with the coordination of subcontractors for works Liaise with internal and external customers for project requirements Process orders, quotes and invoices accurately and in a timely manner Keep well informed on the progress of jobs and update with job notes as required, Ensure customer engagements are professional and friendly Accurate data entry and able to problem solve and find solutions.
