Job Description:
Artazan Property Group (APG) is seeking a Junior Project Manager with 1-3 years-experience, to join our Melbourne CBD based team. This is a great opportunity to kick-start your career in client-side project management within a supportive and dynamic environment. We are: • A highly respected consultancy, proudly servicing some of the nation’s largest property owners and managers for more than 15 years • A mid-sized firm with projects Nationwide to circa $250M • Active across most property sectors with an enviable repeat client base • Rapidly growing our Melbourne CBD team who are currently servicing our valued retail, office and commercial clients across the Melbourne metro area. We have recently picked up projects in Residential, Hospitality, education and aged care. As part of the APG team, you will be considered a member (not a number) of APG Victoria, and benefit from collaborating with highly respected professionals in the industry Ideally you: • Have recently graduated in Construction Management or alternative degree (Architecture, Engineer or Project Management) relevant to the construction industry • Are looking to continue your career in the construction industry with the intention to grow and expand your skillset • Have industry experience working for a Contractor/Subcontractor • Are a team player, willing to provide support across a number of projects for a variety of project leads • Have strong communication and general IT skills with a focus on MS Word & Excel • Are well presented with a positive attitude and enjoy developing meaningful relationships with colleagues and clients • Take pride in the standard and timing to which you complete given tasks • Have the ability to take direction and the initiative to proactively assist the project team Key Responsibilities: • General project administration under the guidance of the project managers, including but not limited to: o Managing the upkeep of project cost plans and contract administration documents o Assisting in the engagement of consultants through populating, compiling and issuing consultancy agreements o Certification of invoices o Project document filing o Attendance and minute taking at design / construction meetings o Assisting with Contract administration • Add value to projects and make a positive impact on their delivery through the application and development of your skills and knowledge gained through university study • Professionally represent the APG brand • Promote a collaborative and supportive work environment • Commit to organisational and individual activities that deliver high levels of service quality, productivity, innovation, and teamwork • Commit to building great relationships with all stakeholders and understanding the contributing factors that deliver client satisfaction and repeat business • Commit to APG business processes and practice diligence to ensure accuracy and consistency across all projects Please send your CV and cover letter to evie.porter@apg.com.au
