The Opportunity We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Payroll Officer to join our friendly team in Paget. This role plays a critical part in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing during an exciting period of growth. Key Responsibilities Process weekly payroll for employees in accordance with company policies and relevant legislation Maintain employee records, leave entitlements, superannuation, and tax information Ensure compliance with Awards, EAs, and Fair Work regulations Respond to payroll-related queries and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner Assist with month-end reporting and reconciliations Liaise with internal departments to ensure data accuracy and seamless workflow Provide general administrative support as needed About You To succeed in this role, you will bring: Proven experience in payroll processing (ideally in a similar industry) Solid understanding of payroll legislation, superannuation, and tax obligations Experience using payroll and accounting software Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team Experience in an administrative or accounts role is highly regarded Why Join Us?
