About the role Camden Haven Medical Centre is seeking an experienced and dedicated Medical Receptionist to join our team in Laurieton, NSW. This full-time position is an integral part of our clinical support staff, responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our patients and ensuring the smooth operation of our medical practice. The role requires the commitment to work between 7.45am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday on a roster basis to a maximum of 38 hours per week. What you'll be doing Greeting patients and visitors in a warm and professional manner Scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and coordinating with clinical staff Handling telephone inquiries and responding to patient requests in a timely manner Contacting patients to book appointments Maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of the reception area Assisting with various administrative tasks to support the overall operations of the practice What we're looking for Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist is desirable however, experience in a customer service focussed role may be considered Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with patients, medical staff, and other stakeholders in a professional and empathetic manner Excellent organisational and multi-tasking abilities, with a keen eye for detail Proficiency in using medical software and electronic record-keeping systems A passion for providing high-quality customer service and contributing to the smooth running of a medical practice What we offer We are committed to supporting the professional and personal growth of our employees.
