About the Role:
We are looking for a vibrant and passionate Senior Crèche Educator to join our team. You’ll be planning exciting and educational experiences that keep children engaged and involved. This role involves developing relationships with families from the community delivering excellent customer service, ensuring our families and children have positive outcomes and walk away happy. If you’re ready to turn playtime into learning time, we’d love to have you on board!
Our Creches operate Monday – Friday 9am – 12pm you will be required to work from 8-1pm a total of 25 hours per week.
Our Creches are closed for 2-3 weeks during the Xmas period and on all public holidays.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality, educational and age-appropriate Crèche programs
Ensure the safety and supervision of all children in the Crèche
Maintain compliance with WLS requirements and State regulations
Provide excellent customer service to children and parents
Create a welcoming and inclusive environment for all families
Basic computer skills
Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers about their child's progress and any concerns
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised Crèche environment
Collaborate with other team members to continuously improve the quality of our programs
Assist the Creche Coordinator in rostering and maintaining budgets
Qualifications:
Diploma in Early Childhood Education
Knowledge of WLS requirements and State regulations for childcare services
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to create and implement engaging and educational activities for children
Provide First Aid Response in an Education and Care Setting, CPR, Asthma, Anaphylaxis certification and safeguarding children (or willingness to obtain)
Working with Children’s Employee Required and Current Police Check
A genuine passion for working with children and helping them learn and grow
A knowledge of safeguarding children legislation
