Finance Officer

JB Contracting, a privately owned civil and earthworks company is seeking an experienced Finance Officer based at our head office in Kalgoorlie.   This is an opportunity to join a fast growing, innovative business who are looking to employ the best people for our team, with high demands will also come high rewards, as we value and appreciate our Employees.   Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to) : Account Payable tasks including Credit applications Data entry of invoices and matching PO's Statement reconciliatons Banking including reconcilaitions Manage AP email and supplier details as well as queries. Credit card and fuel card reconciliations 7 day & EOM payments Goods receipting Other Ad-hoc duties as requested To be considered for this role you will be conscientious, confident, friendly and have experience in similar role and have the following skills & attributes: 1-2 years' experience within a similar role is  (highly desirable) Be able to undertake detailed work with a high level of accuracy Possess sound organizational skills and be able to balance competing work priorities Experience working in a similar environment or industry will be advantageous Ability to ensure confidentiality, company policies and security requirements are met at all times Experience using Xero  (highly desirable)   We offer: • Supportive, friendly team and a great working environment • FlareHR benefits available • Structured personal Development Plans Due to the fast paced, varied and autonomous nature of this position, you will need to demonstrate experience in these situations, as such this position is not suitable for entry level candidates.  ** ONLY APPLY IF YOU ARE BASED IN KALGOORLIE, WA.
