Mulgrave Private Hospital is a rapidly expanding acute medical and surgical hospital conveniently located in the South-Eastern suburbs of Melbourne, easily accessible via the Monash Freeway and East Link. Our facilities include: 24 hour Emergency Department 10 bed Intensive Care Unit 17 bed Coronary Care Unit 9 Operating Theatres 1 Cardiac Catheter Laboratory 1 Hybrid Theatre Medical and Surgical wards The Graduate Nurse Program Mulgrave Private Hospital's Graduate Nurse Program provides a positive and supportive environment in which high calibre Graduate Nurses are encouraged to develop both clinically and professionally while gaining exposure to a variety of clinical areas. About the role: 12 month contract- maximum 8 shifts per fortnight 2 x 6 month rotations Comprehensive Orientation Program Supernumerary time at the start of each rotation Paid Graduate Program Study Sessions Opportunity for specialty department exposure throughout the program (including ICU, CCU, and Emergency Department) Opportunity to progress into a Transition to Specialty Practice Program on completion of the Graduate Program Skills and Experience: AHPRA registration as a Registered or Enrolled Nurse Ability to work rotating roster inclusive of day, evening, night duty and weekend shifts Must be customer focused and demonstrate a professional, responsive, can-do attitude.
