About the role Millingtons Cemeteries are seeking an experienced Administration Assistant to join our team at our Cornelian Bay cemetery location. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our memorial team and our bereaved families, ensuring seamless operations and an exceptional customer experience. What you'll be doing Providing administration support to our memorial team Replying to memorial inquiries via phone and email Liaising with Funeral Directors, Stonemasons, industry providers and suppliers to ensure efficient delivery of memorial needs and requirements Assisting with the coordination and scheduling of funeral services and interments Maintaining detailed records and documentation related to memorial placements Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, and company policies What we're looking for Strong administrative and organisational skills with experience in a similar role Excellent communication and customer service abilities, with a compassionate and empathetic approach Proficiency in using office software, such as Microsoft Office Suite, data base entry Knowledge of cemetery operations and memorial services, or a willingness to learn Attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to prioritise tasks and work under pressure About us Millingtons Cemeteries' is a leading provider of memorial and interment services in Tasmania.
