Assistant Accountant (Full-Time)

 Job Description:

Position Overview: The Assistant Accountant is responsible for supporting day-to-day financial operations, including invoicing, processing sales orders, managing transfer orders between warehouse locations, issuing credit notes, handling customer inquiries, assisting in inventory control, and providing administrative support to the sales team. Key Responsibilities: Invoicing and Sales Orders: Process customer invoices accurately and promptly. Generate and process sales orders, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment. Transfer Orders: Coordinate and process stock transfers between different warehouse or retail locations, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation. Credit Notes: Manage the issuance and processing of credit notes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal policies. Customer Service: Receive and respond promptly to customer calls and inquiries. Provide excellent customer service and support, resolving queries effectively. Inventory Control: Monitor and manage inventory levels, performing regular stock checks and reconciliations. Report discrepancies and assist in inventory audits as required. Sales Team Support: Provide administrative and operational support to the sales team members on the road. Assist in preparing sales documentation, reports, and other related materials. General Accounting Support: Assist the accounting team. Skills and Qualifications: Proven experience in an accounts assistant, administrative, or similar role. Strong proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Netsuite, MYOB, Xero, SAP, QuickBooks). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Good organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Proficient in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
