This exciting opportunity provides a first-hand view of the legal system.    The purpose of this role is to support the day-to-day functions of the production team . Experience in transcribing legal content, including court hearings (audio transcription), will be well-regarded but is not essential. Qualifications Typing speed of 80 wpm with high accuracy  Candidates without Transcription experience who meet the above criteria and are capable, enthusiastic, and quick to learn are encouraged to apply.  National Police Clearance will be required for all VIQ roles  Knowledge, skills, and competencies Able to work autonomously Outstanding literacy skills, including comprehension, spelling, and grammar Excellent listening and hearing skills  Excellent attention to detail Digital literacy: including using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook Able to consistently follow formatting and style guidelines Time management: to be reliable and punctual and efficiently carry out duties to meet internal and client deadlines  Personal attributes High-level confidentiality and professionalism Excellent written and verbal communication skills Self-learning attributes Flexibility and adaptability Professional approach Team culture promoter Aligns to Company Values Personal attributes A positive approach to change management COVID-19 Proof of Vaccination VIQ Solutions has implemented a COVID-19 Vaccination Policy in Australia that requires all new hires to show proof of being fully vaccinated from COVID-19, or have an approved medical exemption.
