Diploma Toddler Room Leader – Maternity Leave Cover (8 Months, Potential to Become Permanent) Location: Waitara, NSW Employment Type: Full-Time (Fixed-Term Contract) About the Role Mini Wonderland Early Learning Centre is seeking an experienced and passionate Diploma Toddler Room Leader to join our team starting in August on a full-time 8-month maternity leave contract , with the potential to transition into a permanent role. Based at our Waitara centre, you’ll lead the toddler room and support the growth and development of our young learners in a warm, nurturing environment. What You'll Be Doing Oversee the daily operations and programming of the toddler room, ensuring a high standard of care and learning Lead, mentor, and support one team member, encouraging professional growth and a positive team culture Plan and implement engaging experiences that support toddlers’ physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development Maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment aligned with centre policies and the EYLF Communicate effectively with families and provide regular updates on each child’s progress Collaborate with the centre leadership team to drive continuous improvement Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, frameworks, and standards What We’re Looking For Diploma in Early Childhood Education (or currently working towards) At least one year Experience as a Room Leader in a childcare setting Strong leadership and organisational skills Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities A genuine passion for early childhood education Willingness to be flexible and adapt to business requirements Current First Aid certificate (including HLTAID004 or HLTAID012) Working with Children Check clearance What We Offer Supportive and collaborative team culture Birthday celebration with staff gift card and cake Generous staff discount on childcare fees Strong leadership and ongoing support About Us Mini Wonderland Early Learning Centre is a family-owned service committed to delivering high-quality early education in a caring and inclusive environment.
