About the role We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team at Broadmeadows Medical Centre. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, compassionate patient care within our general medical and surgical clinic. This full-time role is based in our Broadmeadows, VIC 3047 location. What you'll be doing Providing comprehensive nursing care to patients, including administering medications, performing treatments, and monitoring patient progress Collaborating with the medical team to develop and implement individualised patient care plans Conducting patient assessments, documenting clinical observations, and maintaining accurate medical records Assisting with minor medical procedures and providing post-operative care Promoting patient education and empowering patients to actively participate in their own healthcare Maintaining a safe and clean clinical environment, adhering to infection control protocols Participating in continuous professional development to enhance nursing knowledge and skills What we're looking for Registered Nurse with a current AHPRA registration and a minimum of 2 years' experience in a general medical or surgical setting Strong clinical skills, including proficiency in patient assessment, medication administration, and wound care Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with patients, families, and the multidisciplinary team Demonstrated commitment to patient-centred care and a genuine passion for the nursing profession Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and contribute to the overall success of the clinic Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple tasks efficiently What we offer At Broadmeadows Medical Centre, we are committed to providing a supportive and rewarding work environment for our employees.
