Abbey Beach Resort is seeking a Part-Time Bookkeeper to support our finance operations and work alongside our dedicated resort team. About the Role: As our Bookkeeper, you'll play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting our day-to-day accounting operations. Your responsibilities will include: ·         Managing accounts payable and receivable ·         Reconciling bank statements and maintain general ledger accuracy ·         Processing weekly payroll and assisting with BAS preparation ·         Superannuation reconciliation and lodgement ·         Maintaining accurate records of financial transactions ·         Supplier invoice reconciliation, identifying discrepancies and submitting credit claims ·         Administering payments of suppliers  ·         Ensure compliance with internal processes and reporting deadlines   We’re looking for someone who is: Trustworthy and discreet with confidential financial information Highly organised and detail-oriented Competent in using bookkeeping/accounting software Capable of working independently and communicating effectively Qualifications: Certificate IV (TAFE) or relevant qualification in Bookkeeping or Accounting Proven experience in bookkeeping (minimum of 6 months).
