Rostering Coordinator Full-Time | Cranbourne South, VIC Blairlogie Living and Learning Inc. About the Role Blairlogie Living and Learning Inc. is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Rostering Coordinator to join our team in Cranbourne South. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing the rostering of our dedicated team of disability support workers. Your work will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth delivery of high-quality, person-centred support services across our organisation. What You’ll Be Doing Coordinating rosters across all service delivery areas to ensure compliance with legislative requirements, workforce availability, client needs, and organisational priorities. Acting as the primary point of contact for vacancy management and proactively filling shifts related to sick leave, annual leave, and other planned or unplanned absences. Monitoring rosters for changes, absenteeism, and non-compliance, and addressing issues in a timely and effective manner. Collaborating with service managers to ensure rosters are filled efficiently, minimising disruption to clients and optimising workforce utilisation. Maintaining accurate records relating to staff attendance, availability, and timesheets. Supporting continuous improvement by identifying and implementing enhancements to rostering processes. Ensuring rostering practices align with relevant industrial agreements, employment legislation, and occupational health and safety requirements. What We’re Looking For Proven experience in a rostering or scheduling role, ideally within the disability or aged care sectors. Strong organisational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage professionally with a diverse range of staff and stakeholders. Proficiency in rostering and scheduling software (SupportAbility experience desirable), as well as Microsoft Office applications. A commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centred care and support. Sound understanding of relevant employment and workplace health and safety regulations.
