About You You are a confident professional with a proven track record in a senior finance role. You can distil complex financial information into clear, actionable insights and are comfortable presenting to and influencing senior executive leaders. You possess strong commercial acumen and a high level of self-awareness and personal effectiveness. The Role We are seeking an experienced and motivated Finance Manager to join our Brisbane Corporate Office. Reporting to the Managing Director, this key leadership role will oversee the financial and management reporting for both our Australia and Papua New Guinea companies. The position will work closely with Commercial and Operations teams, as well as finance counterparts in both countries, to ensure accurate, timely and compliant financial outcomes. Key Accountabilities Deliver timely and accurate monthly reporting – Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Cashflow statements Prepare commentaries and variance analysis in accordance with group reporting timelines Lead budgeting and forecasting processes in coordination with the Managing Director Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions Monitor and prepare month-end close including accruals, prepayments, and recharges Analyse KPIs and performance against budget/forecast and implement corrective actions Manage payroll reconciliations in conjunction with HR and oversee superannuation compliance Provide statutory and tax reporting for Australia and PNG entities Support and liaise with parent companies and shareholders Lead finance team performance, mentoring and development Qualifications & Experience Essential: Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) or equivalent CPA, CA or equivalent professional qualification Minimum 6 years' progressive accounting experience Strong background in both financial and management reporting Experience leading finance teams in a complex or multinational environment High-level analytical and problem-solving skills Proficiency with MS Office (especially Excel), accounting software, and Power BI Desirable: Experience in logistics, supply chain or transport industry Familiarity with multi-entity reporting, especially across international boundaries Skills & Attributes Strong interpersonal and communication skills Proven leadership with the ability to empower and develop team members Decisive and confident in financial and business decision-making Ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy What We Offer Competitive salary and benefits package Collaborative and supportive work environment Opportunities for professional development and career growth A chance to contribute to an expanding, innovative joint venture At CTS, we are passionate about providing equal employment opportunities and embracing diversity.
