Senior Payroll Officer

The Opportunity Our client are looking to hire an excellent Payroll Officer to the business who will sit within a large payroll team. You will take full ownership over ensuring the accurate and efficient undertaking of all associated end-to-end payroll duties as listed below. Reporting into the Payroll Manager, you will bring a high level of attention to detail to the role and a positive attitude. Job Responsibilities Processing fortnightly payroll for close to 10,000 staff using ADP Interpretation of the General Retail Industry Award Maintain accurate employee data including onboarding/terminations Ensure compliance with all payroll-related legislation & regulation Calculate and process superannuation, leave entitlements and other payroll-related adjustments Responding to payroll queries Provide support to the Payroll Manager with AD HOC reporting/project related tasks Ideal Candidate ADP systems experience essential Previous experience in retail advantageous but not essential Previous high-volume payroll processing experience Willingness to identify and suggest process improvements Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to meet deadlines and work effectively within a team environment What's on Offer Work for a company known for it's fun, vibrant office culture CBD location Amazing leadership and support To discuss the role further, please contact Daniel Close at dclose@sharpandcarter.com.au
