Job description: THIS OPENS THE DOOR TO YOUR FUTURE: OUR OPPORTUNITY We're looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Contracts Administrator to play a key role in managing and reviewing various contracts across our entities, including Service, Consultancy & Construction Agreements. In this role, you'll be the primary point of contact internally, using your skills to identify potential risks and ensure compliance with legal and industry standards. Your contributions will drive continuous improvement in our contract management processes, helping to streamline workflows and resolve issues quickly. Key responsibilities will include: Contract Review and Risk Identification: Conduct comprehensive reviews of various contracts, including consultancy agreements, service agreements, and works contracts, to identify potential contractual risks and ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards. Stakeholder Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact for all contract-related inquiries from stakeholders, providing clear, concise, and timely communication regarding contract status, issues, and resolutions. Continuous Improvement and Process Management: Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives, managing the contract inbox and workflow processes to optimise efficiency, streamline operations, and ensure timely responses to contract-related queries. Contract Negotiations Support: Assist the Senior Legal Counsel in negotiations of contract terms with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring favourable terms and minimising risks for the organisation. Issue Identification and Resolution: Identify issues or potential risks within contract terms and propose alternative amendments, ensuring alignment with the organization's legal framework and strategic objectives. Compliance and Legal Assurance: Ensure all contracts are compliant with relevant legal requirements, regulations, and industry standards, maintaining the organization's commitment to ethical business practices and legal integrity. Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement: Foster collaboration with both internal teams and external partners to address contract-related questions and support contract negotiations, promoting effective communication and ensuring a smooth contract execution process. YOUR SKILLS Previous experience in reviewing high-value commercial contracts, with a focus on the construction/service industry. Strong knowledge of contract law and commercial principles, with a proven ability to identify risks and ensure compliance. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, able to clearly explain contractual issues and risks to both internal teams and external stakeholders. An understanding of post-signing contract management and dispute resolution. A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Legal Studies, or work experience in a related field.
