Job Description:
Medical Receptionist South Melbourne Maxillofacial Surgery are seeking a highly motivated, confident, and committed Medical Receptionist to join our dedicated team. We are offering great salary, great hours, and engaging work for an experienced Medical Receptionist. You will be responsible for the day to day running of the practice and oversee the operational aspects of the clinic. You will work alongside owner and surgeon Dr Lisa Crighton, an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon, who has over 20 years’ experience. You will be part of a highly experienced and established team of two Oral Surgery Assistants. Together, you will provide exceptional patient-focused care during our patient’s journey from consultation through to treatment. This position will be full-time (40 hours) over a 4-day working week, with a rostered day off. Location of work will be in South Melbourne. Experience: - Strong communication skills - written and verbal - Possess excellent attention to detail - Ability to work unsupervised and independently - An exceptional ability to stay organised and be able to prioritise tasks - Experience as a medical receptionist in a clinic environment preferred, but not essential - Experience in Genie software preferred, but not essential Responsibilities: Administration duties, including but not limited to: - Email and phone call management - Diary management including consults, local and general anaesthetic procedure bookings - Patient accounts, including Medicare, Private Health, DVA - Organising and manage theatre bookings including liaising with hospitals and anaesthetists - Manage all patient correspondence, reports, letters and referrals and maintaining accurate patient records Full onboarding and training will be provided.
