ADMIN / ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT

 Job Description:

East Coast Cement is based on Kooragang Island, just near Newcastle. We are now in need of a switched on & proactive Administration / Accounts Assistant to support the team on a part time basis.  We are a small open office and like to have a drama free work space. An independent all-rounder with previous office experience as well as a sense of humour is what we will be looking for. If someone were to describe you, they would say you had a pleasant, helpful manner when dealing with people, were organised, efficient and 100% reliable. Some of the things you will find yourself doing in this role include: Entering supplier accounts into the system  Invoicing clients Logistics documentation Managing compliance documentation Admin support to management Filing & general office maintenance Answering phones Minimum of 2 years experience in an administrative role with accounts responsibilities is required. Accurate data entry skills and an eye for detail is a must, as is intermediate proficiency in Excel & Word. Experience with Xero accounts system is also essential. This is a part-time position, 4 days a week, based on-site in the office. Hours would be Monday to Thursday 9am to 2pm. Salary is $65,000 to $72,000 pa (+ super) pro-rata dependent on experience.
