YORKEYS MEDICAL We have the opportunity for a medical receptionist to join our expanding community driven GP Clinic, four days a week. ABOUT US: Yorkeys Medical Centre, established in 2021, is a family, locally owned and managed, healthcare practice. We take great pride in providing our community with high quality, patient-centric healthcare. We are currently seeking a friendly, innovative and empathetic professional to join our expanding practice as a medical receptionist and administrator KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Greeting patients in a warm and welcoming manner Taking appointments, and managing practitioners’ calendars and client needs Responding to face-to-face, telephone and email enquiries Taking payments, and processing Medicare and private health claims Issuing invoices and receipts Maintaining and updating patient records and ensuring confidentiality Providing practitioners, management, staff, external providers and clients with general administrative support Assisting in the maintenance of policies, procedures and practice systems Keeping the reception area clean and organised ABOUT YOU: Minimum of 2 years' experience as a receptionist or in a similar role (Essential) Previous medical practice experience (Highly Regarded) Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Essential) Familiarity with medical software (Highly Regarded) Strong verbal and written communication skills. High level of professionalism, discretion and attention to detail.  Excellent time-management and organisational skills.
