With 24 suburbs, a long history and an exciting future, you’re invited to be part of it all.  About the position This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated, driven individual with strong initiative and a collaborative mindset to join our Legal and Compliance team on a casual basis. This role is for 3 days per week over a 6 to 8 week period. The position plays a key role in providing high-level administrative support for the Council meeting process, including attending Council Meetings and Briefings held on Tuesday evenings (with a later start time on Tuesdays to accommodate this), as well as assisting with organisational governance and compliance requirements. About you To be successful in this position you should have demonstrated experience in an administrative or governance role, with strong verbal and written communication skills. We are looking for a team player with an attention to detail and who is comfortable learning and using technology. Prior experience in local government and/or a governance role will be highly regarded, however on-the-job training will be provided. Salary and Benefits Casual hourly rate: $57-$60 p/h, dependant on experience.
