About the Role We are looking for a Practice Manager to join our busy Capalaba clinic in a full-time, permanent capacity. As a Practice Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring our clinic operates smoothly and efficiently. You will oversee everything from administration and facilities management to patient care coordination and financial processes—all while fostering positive relationships with our dedicated team of doctors and staff. Your responsibilities will include: Operational Excellence: Managing front-desk reception and administration, ensuring patients feel welcome and their queries are resolved promptly. Overseeing patient information handling, including billing, Medicare claims, and re-booking future appointments. Maintaining clinic stock levels supply and managing supplier relationships. Ensuring the clinic is secure, clean, and well-maintained for patients and staff. Approving invoices and ensuring accurate reporting of clinic financial activities. Managing doctor payment reporting and achieving clinic-specific KPIs. Supporting and leading reception and administrative staff to deliver exceptional service. Coordinating doctor rosters and consulting room allocations for maximum efficiency. Acting as the key point of contact for patients, managing appointments and collaborating with the patient acquisition team to deliver a seamless experience. Supporting medical and nursing staff in their patient care duties when required. About You We are looking for someone who is: Experienced in medical reception or practice management (3+ years). Comfortable in a leadership or senior administrative role Familiar with Best Practice software (preferred but not essential). Organised, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a dynamic environment. A natural communicator with exceptional customer service skills. Proficient in MS Office and knowledgeable in medical terminology.
