Job Overview: As the Tax & Accounting Manager, you will manage the Accounting team, coordinate jobs, and provide technical leadership in tax planning, structuring, and compliance. Your responsibilities will include: Ensuring technical proficiency and high standards of service. Reviewing and approving tax returns prepared by the team. Managing work-in-progress, completion, and turnaround times. Adhering to systems and processes to achieve revenue targets. Coaching, developing, and training team members. Leading the annual tax planning process and overseeing ATO and ASIC matters. Liaising with the ATO on behalf of clients for private rulings and objections. Preparing tax returns, activity statements, financial statements, and work-papers. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting (Masters of Tax highly regarded). CPA, CA, or CTA membership (Registered Tax Agent highly regarded). Minimum 5 years' experience Strong time management and leadership skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in Xero and Xero Practice Manager (XPM) highly regarded. High standard of ethics, confidentiality, and professionalism.
