Front of House Manager
Job Description:
Tonino's International - Drummoyne Tonino's International is the new jewel of the inner west. We are located in Drummoyne, inside the Harris Farm complex. The venue boasts a diverse offering that transitions from a coffee shop by early day to a cozy pizza and pasta restaurant for lunches and dinners, complemented by a dedicated fresh cut deli. The venue operates from early morning until dinner, offering a mixed and balanced roster. Business Hours: 7-day operation with a Flexible rotating roster 7 mornings + limited evenings (Thursday to Sunday) --The evening trade is currently suspended for renovation. We will resume with dinners in the next few weeks-- Job roles - Handle staff scheduling, recruitment, and training, fostering a motivated and skilled team. - Manage roster and ordering to reduce bottom line in line with budgeting. - Drive and coordinate the different Front of House departments and teams across coffee shop and restaurant. - Engage directly with guests through reservation management, warm welcomes, and seamless service interactions. - Utilise your proven leadership experience in the restaurant or hospitality industry to inspire and direct a high-performing team. - Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric approach that prioritises guest satisfaction. Required Skills and Experience: - Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar management role within cafes or casual dining establishments. - Proven ability to inspire, lead, and effectively train teams through hands-on leadership. - Demonstrated track record in achieving revenue growth and profitability targets. - Exceptional organisational capabilities, able to think quickly, prioritise tasks, and manage multiple responsibilities efficiently. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to delegate clearly and effectively. - Availability to work a flexible schedule across 5 shifts per week, including mornings, evenings, and weekends. - Genuine passion for hospitality, with a hands-on approach and the ability to build meaningful connections throughout the business.
