Metromix is seeking an experienced and professional individual to join our Concrete team as a Customer Service Officer located at our Parramatta head office. Reporting to the Customer service manager, you will be responsible for maximising the customer experience by addressing enquiries about products and services, alongside the efficient placement of orders & the management of the delivery process (DIFOT).  The position interacts closely with the concrete plant operations, logistics and the sales team, and is a key position within the customer service team.  Safety must always be of the highest standard within the daily operations  Key Tasks/Responsibilities: Adhere to Metromix Pty Ltd’s Operating Procedures, policies, directives and relevant Health and Safety Policies. Order processing and allocation of concrete trucks as required Understand and enforce Chain of Responsibility obligations Communicate effectively with batch plants and customers. Receive and process customer orders and schedule deliveries. Manage customer enquiries, orders, and complaints correctly. Available to work Saturdays    Ideally, the successful candidate will be/have: Highly motivated, proactive individual. Reliable with a positive can do attitude. Strong Communication skills. High attention to detail. Excellent time management skills.  Excellent customer service skills including strong active listening skills Ability to work in a fast paced, high pressure team environment. (High call volume role) Intermediate Computer Skills – Command Track experience preferred but not essential. Prior experience with scheduling preferred but not essential. Must be able to work Monday to Friday between 6am-5pm (rotating roster) and 6am-12pm Saturdays  The successful applicant will be required to complete a pre-employment medical including a drug and alcohol screening.
