RECEPTIONIST FULL-TIME POSITION Annual salary: $49,296 plus 12% superannuation We are a fast-growing accounting firm in Brisbane. We deal with all facets of taxation, superannuation, business services, business consulting, wealth management, business activity statement, state and federal tax compliance, business setup and restructuring, self-managed super funds, tax planning. Our prosperity in business and increased clientele have warranted us the opportunity to look for a full-time receptionist to join our team based in Stones Corner, QLD. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Looking after the reception area and ensuring the office is presentable for client visits Answering the phone calls - transferring calls, booking in client meeting with accountants and taking messages if needed Working closely with principal accountant and senior accountant, carry out their instructions regarding client’s tax, accounting and financial matters Assisting with booking in client meetings Provide general administrative support to the team as required Conducting and preparing any research that accountants need Assisting with onboarding and offboarding clients Preparing client documentation as required Filing paper documents & electronic documentation Ordering and taking stock of office supplies, ensuring office consumables are topped up daily Assisting with social events as required Liaise with ATO and ASIC regarding our client’s tax, accounting and financial matter Greeting and welcoming clients to the office, ensuring they feel valued and assisted Providing general administrative support, including data entry, filing and word processing tasks Preparing correspondence, reports and other documentation as required Carrying out other ad-hoc administrative duties as requested A bit about you: Ability to meet deadlines, to-do list and getting office works done Minimum of one year office administration and receptionist experience Not afraid to pick up the phone and have a chat with clients, ATO, ASIC. Attention to detail and accuracy Excellent written and verbal communication skills Willingness to learn, show initiative and be a positive team player Highest standard of ethics, confidentiality and professionalism Common sense approach to tasks Must have experience with Microsoft word, excel, outlook Communicate with clients in a friendly and confident manner Multitask and work on various clients Maintain a high level of client confidentiality Ability to work independently, with strong self-organisational and time management skills Team player who works well in a collaborative environment Capacity to think critically Enjoy being part of a dynamic busy team Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with a diverse range of stakeholders Excellent customer service orientation, a friendly, professional person Proficiency in using common office software and computer systems Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask effectively A keen eye for detail and the ability to work accurately under pressure A positive, proactive, and team-oriented approach to work The candidate must be a permanent resident or an Australian citizen. Minimum educational qualification for this position is H.S.C. This is a full-time office job. The office is in Stones Corner, QLD.
