About the role An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Intermediate Business Services Accountant to join the dynamic team at Whitehill Keir Pty Ltd in Brisbane. As an Intermediate Business Services Accountant, you will play a key role in providing high-quality accounting services to a diverse range of business clients. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative, supportive environment and develop your skills within a thriving professional services firm. What you'll be doing Preparing financial statements, BAS, and other accounting reports for clients Providing advisory service support to the director to assist clients with tax planning, succession planning and other advisory services as required. Conducting research and analysis to identify opportunities for clients to improve their financial performance Liaising with clients to understand their business needs and provide tailored solutions Collaborating with the broader accounting team to deliver integrated services Staying up-to-date with changes in accounting standards, legislation, and industry best practices What we're looking for Tertiary qualification in Accounting Completing or recently completed CA studies Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar business services role Strong technical accounting skills and knowledge of relevant software and systems Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on providing practical business solutions A proactive and collaborative approach, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment What we offer At Whitehill Keir Pty Ltd, we are committed to supporting the professional and personal growth of our employees.
