They are currently seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to join their team on a 6-month fixed-term contract—an excellent opportunity to contribute to a high-performing payroll function within a supportive and dynamic environment. Responsibilities: Reporting directly to the Payroll Manager, your key responsibilities will include: End-to-end processing of the monthly salaried payroll for approximately 2,500 employees Managing terminations, redundancies, and entity changes Handling escalated payroll queries promptly and professionally Maintaining and updating payroll systems and records with accuracy Managing leave, sick, and overtime reporting Preparing reports to meet internal and statutory obligations Processing salary variations, pay increases, and back pay calculations Preparing and submitting payments for superannuation, WorkCover, and other payroll-related deductions Maintaining effective administrative procedures to support service delivery Identifying and recommending improvements to payroll policies, procedures, and practices Candidate Profile: The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in a similar payroll position, along with the following attributes: Strong verbal and written communication skills A proven track record of process improvement High attention to detail with strong organisational and time management skills Ability to manage competing priorities and perform under pressure Confident and professional when liaising with internal and external stakeholders Proactive with a strong sense of initiative and accountability What’s on Offer: Competitive hourly rate – up to $50 per hour + superannuation Work for a highly respected employer of choice Supportive, close-knit team environment To apply online, please click on the appropriate link below.
