Your Responsibilities As a Qualified Educator at St John's OSHC, you will: Actively supervise and engage children in a range of activities—both indoor and outdoor—that stimulate learning and promote wellbeing. Create a safe, supportive, and welcoming environment where children can play, explore, and develop new skills. Deliver programs that are tailored to the varying ages, interests, and abilities of the children in care, in line with the ‘My Time Our Place: Framework for OSHC’ and the National Quality Framework. Foster positive, respectful relationships with children, families, and the wider school community. Work collaboratively with the team to ensure the best outcomes for children and families. Help keep our space sparkling and safe by pitching in with light cleaning tasks. Selection Criteria To be successful in this role, you will need: A Diploma in Children’s Services or ACECQA approved Qualifications (ACECQAApprovedQualificationListOSHC.pdf). A strong understanding of the National Quality Standards and the National Framework. A current Blue Card and certifications in First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis. Previous experience in an OSHC or similar childcare setting. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proven ability to build positive, respectful relationships with children, families, and colleagues. A genuine passion for working with children and fostering their development. Willingness to work within the Christian ethos of the service. Experience with Food Handling (desired but not essential).
