You’ll be the go-to guide for our staff and guests, helping to create unforgettable experiences. From greeting our guests with a warm welcome to making sure operations run seamlessly, you’ll set the standard for exceptional service. Your day-to-day includes: Inspiring and leading the team to deliver top-notch hospitality Making sure check-ins and check-outs are smooth and stress-free Jumping in when needed - whether it’s making coffee, flipping rooms, or answering guest queries Resolving guest issues quickly and professionally, ensuring everyone leaves with a smile Being the expert on Byron Bay, ready with tips on the best places to eat, explore, and unwind Analysing performance and finding new ways to make the Drifter experience even better Who We Are Looking For You’re a natural leader with hospitality in your veins. Friendly, approachable, and adaptable, you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a knack for solving problems on the fly. With a hands-on approach, you know how to rally a team and create a space where guests feel valued and cared for. Your eye for detail and love for travel makes you the perfect fit to drive the Drifter vibe. Flexibility is key. Our doors are open 24/7, and as a Host Supervisor, you may be required to work evenings, weekends or public holidays when needed. Here’s what helps you thrive in the role: Experience in front-of-house or guest-facing roles, with a strong understanding of service excellence Confidence in leading a team, motivating others, and keeping things on track A calm, professional approach to handling guest concerns and unexpected challenges Comfort using tech and systems for check-ins, rosters, and performance tracking A natural interest in travel, connection, and creating meaningful guest interactions A hands-on mindset with the flexibility to jump in wherever needed to keep operations flowing Why Work with Us?
