Job Description:
Sushi Sushi, Australia's largest sushi brand are looking for a National Operations Co-ordinator to join us on a 6-month Maternity Leave contract. This integral role is the backbone of the operations team, based on strong relationships with the operations consultants, the support office and store network. A natural problem-solver, you will ensure our operations consultants are equipped to provide best-in-class support to our stores. The Operations Co-ordinator is also a key support for the Operations Leadership Team, co-ordinating national meetings, managing administration needs, and enabling seamless communication between the support office and the store network. It requires a highly motivated multi-tasker with excellent communication skills, who will thrive in a team environment. Also supporting the CEO in adhoc administration assistance. Key responsibilities include: Ops team communication Arranging regular operations team meetings, preparing materials in advance and implementing follow-up plans. Supporting the planning and execution of state and national meetings. Driving store excellence Supporting the roll out of operational guidelines, food safety standards, OH&S procedures and other important company programs. Co-ordinating store maintenance tasks (Repairs & Maintenance) by liaising with relevant contractors and store teams or franchise partners, tracking jobs, and resolving issues. Liaising with regulators and local councils to monitor food safety records. Supporting the team Co-ordinating and diary management, schedules and engagements ensuring meeting logistics are in place. Processing and tracking invoices relating to operations expenses. Managing domestic and international travel requirements. General office management and other projects and activities as required. What you will need: A passion for people, hospitality or retail, and sushi! Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. A team player, someone who is willing to support the group to achieve shared goals. Excellent organisational and co-ordination skills with the ability to multi-task. Excellent administrative skills with precision in attention to detail. Ability to liaise with both internal and external stakeholders at all levels. Microsoft Office experience with a flair for PowerPoint. Driver’s license preferred and working rights within Australia required. Experience in an Executive Assistant / Personal Assistant role working with multiple stakeholders is preferred but not essential.
