About the business and the role Our client is looking for an Assistant Accountant / Accountant to initially join a small finance team for approximately 3 months. Job tasks and responsibilities Reporting to the Finance Manager, your duties will be very varied. Entering invoices Coding of invoices, checking and verifying Reconciling statements GL reconciliations BAS Recording and processing financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, invoices, receipts, payroll, and general ledger entries. Reconciling daily bank statements and resolving discrepancies promptly as well as credit card reconciliations Verify account balances and identifying and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner. Maintaining accurate financial records in accounting software and spreadsheets.
